dodworth girls was established in 2006. we play in the sheffield and hallamshire girls county league.playing 7 a side in the 2006/07 season we finished 4th in the league but at the end of the season we lost a lot of players.3 players from the original team remained so we had to find new players as for the 2007/08 season we had to play at 9 side.through the sheer determination of the players that were left, the manager and the assistant manager we found the players and the team was reborn. although we didnt have a very successful season on the pitch it was very successful off the pitch as a fantastic bunch of girls and all the parents bonded into a team. the girls have improved their game dramatically and we wish them all the luck in the world as they start the 2008/09 season playing 11 a side football

all girls are welcome to come to training but you have to be in year 8 or 9 to sign up for the team.
we are currently looking for a second goalkeeper and a striker.
