dodworth girls was established in 2006. we play in the sheffield and hallamshire girls county league.playing 7 a side in the 2006/07 season we finished 4th in the league but at the end of the season we lost a lot of players.3 players from the original team remained so we had to find new players as for the 2007/08 season we had to play at 9 side.through the sheer determination of the players that were left, the manager and the assistant manager we found the players and the team was reborn. although we didnt have a very successful season on the pitch it was very successful off the pitch as a fantastic bunch of girls and all the parents bonded into a team. the girls have improved their game dramatically and we wish them all the luck in the world as they start the 2008/09 season playing 11 a side football

a massive thankyou to kev and all the uk football tours team for a great tournament.we really enjoyed it and will be going again. check out the website from the link. the girls had a great time and so did their families.the pics will be on the my pics page when we get them in.

all girls are welcome to come to training but you have to be in year 8 or 9 to sign up for the team.
we are currently looking for a second goalkeeper and a striker.
anyone wishing to join must not be registered with the sheffield and hallamshire girls county league or any team playing in it.
